Freight insurance

Standard insurance

The „Traffic/Transport Insurance“ covers special motor vehicle transportation up to the statutory liability of 40 SDR/kg. Transportation of motor vehicles/vehicles of all types, such as commercial vehicles, agricultural/construction machinery, caravans, motor homes, trailers, passenger cars, etc. and the corresponding accessories are also insured. The sum insured is a lump sum of EUR 3,000,000 each for property damage and financial loss.

All‐round carefree insurance

In addition to the above‐mentioned insurance benefits, you can choose „All‐round carefree insurance“ in the specified goods groups A, B or C, which covers additional damage in accordance with the above‐mentioned insurance policy, such as environmental damage (fire, flooding, hail, etc.) and unavoidable events such as theft and vandalism. Insurance cover is provided for the transportation and storage of insured goods to and from all places in the world, provided you have booked these with the corresponding premium rates for goods groups A, B or C.

Goods group A:

Transportation of motor vehicles/vehicles of all types such as commercial vehicles, agricultural/construction machinery, caravans, motorhomes, trailers, passenger cars, etc. up to max. 30,000 EUR per item including accessories.

Goods group B:

Transportation of motor vehicles/vehicles of all types such as commercial vehicles, agricultural/construction machinery, caravans, motorhomes, trailers, etc. up to a maximum of EUR 150,000 per item including accessories. Passenger cars from EUR 30,000 up to max. EUR 100,000 per item including accessories.

Goods group C:

Transportation of motor vehicles/vehicles of all types such as commercial vehicles, agricultural/construction machinery, caravans, motorhomes, trailers, etc. over EUR 150,000 per item including accessories. Passenger cars over 100,000 EUR on request.
