Early years and foundation
Three visions, one success story. In the early years, three independent companies - Binder Transporte, A. Blöchl Transporte and Sonnleitner Transporte - each laid the foundations for today's ASB Group.
Binder Transporte started in 1985 with a clear focus on local and long-distance goods transport and expanded its portfolio ten years later with the first car transporter. Sonnleitner Transporte, founded in 1999, initially specialised in trading new and used vehicles, earthmoving work and the rental of construction machinery and equipment in addition to its core business of vehicle transport.
With the merger to form ASB Fahrzeuglogistic GmbH in 2007, the three transport companies have significantly expanded their capacities and created a dynamic company that meets the growing challenges of a constantly changing industry.
A bold step that was rewarded
After the first two successful years, the fleet was finally expanded to 30 transport trains in 2009. A massive expansion that was also associated with a certain amount of risk.
But the three entrepreneurs stuck to their vision: equipped with special bodies for chassis, lorry, car, agricultural and construction machinery transport, they opened up new business areas and sectors and developed ASB Fahrzeuglogistic GmbH into an indispensable logistics partner in the region.

Growth and modernisation
2017 marked the start of something really big. The construction of the new logistics centre with office building and in-house master workshop was a decisive step towards being able to offer customers an even more comprehensive service package in future.
With the opening of the new site in Röhrnbach in June 2018, ASB Logistic finally laid the foundation for further company growth and the expansion of the international logistics network in vehicle and container transport.
To this day, these modern buildings form the heart of the operational business and are the control centre for our customers' logistics solutions. In 2019, the fleet was expanded to 65 vehicles in order to secure capacity and continuously improve performance. In the years that followed, we further strengthened our offering and expanded the fleet to over 70 transport trains in 2024.
A look into the future
We always want to keep our finger on the pulse - and we are constantly redefining our standards. That is why we will continue to focus on pioneering technology and bold innovations in the future: What began in 2020 with digital order management and scheduling supported by artificial intelligence will continue in the coming years.
With the targeted use of new technologies in logistics, our workshop and vehicle construction, we are proactively developing new possibilities that guarantee the highest quality and individuality. Because in everything we do, one thing always takes centre stage for us: being an innovative and reliable partner for our customers throughout Europe.
